(PICS) the developers of the Integrated Document Management Solution, DocLib, and Extrion Limited proudly announce a Strategic Alliance that gives Extrion rights to distribute, implement and support DocLib in the European Union. DocLib is a powerful, Integrated Document Management (IDM) solution that allows users to store copies of business documents and reports electronically and access these documents quickly and easily from virtually anywhere. DocLib eliminates the need to file hardcopies of documents and reports and will improve customer service by reducing the time it takes to track down any document. DocLib increases security on document access and allows users to reclaim office space now used by filing cabinets. DocLib is fully integrated with QAD Inc's MFG/PRO. MFG/PRO generated forms and reports are automatically captured and stored in DocLib and logical keywords are automatically applied. Users can quickly view previously printed reports and forms at any time, eliminating printing and storing hardcopies of MFG/PRO forms and reports. The DocLib Document Imaging Module allows users to scan paper documents, including handwritten documents, into an electronic format (image). The images are indexed, OCR'ed or ICR'ed and automatically loaded into DocLib.
