FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Laerdal Medical Goes Live with DocLib!
Laerdal Medical went live on 5/9/05 with our Integrated Document
Management Solution – DocLib.
Laerdal is a long time MFG/PRO user who is currently running MFG/PRO eB
in a GUI environment. This was the first phase for a multi-phase rollout
of DocLib throughout their North American facilities. Phase 1 consisted
of storing and accessing documents related to Purchasing and Accounts
Payable transactions. Included in the scope of the implementation were
Purchase Orders and AP checks that utilize DocLib’s Electronic Reports
Management (ERM) functionality, 2 Ascent Capture scanning stations located
in Texas and New York and heavy use of DocLib’s Full Text Search
and Annotation functionality. Purchasing and AP functions are de-centralized
in Laerdal’s environment therefore a single, secure database that
contains all AP documents is a huge benefit. Phase 2 will consist of an
implementation around Customer Service and Shipping.
